On the reaction day the stock moved 2.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.7 pts less than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Rolex Rings board has approved a buyback of up to 10 million equity shares (3.67 percent of total paid-up capital) at Rs 180 per share through the tender offer route, for an aggregate of up to Rs 1,800 million. Promoters and promoter group will not participate. Record date is July 3, 2026. The buyback price is set at a premium over the April 17, 2026 VWAP of Rs 136.35 on NSE. Buyback is within the 25 percent statutory limit and will be funded from free reserves.
Buyback at a premium is positive for public shareholders. Reduces equity base, likely to lift EPS and RoE. Promoters sitting out boosts entitlement for others.
