Roto Pumps Limited has allotted 12,56,30,440 bonus equity shares of face value ₹1 each in the ratio of 2 bonus shares for every 1 existing share held. This was approved by members through a postal ballot on June 25, 2025, with the record date set as July 11, 2025. As a result, the paid-up equity share capital has tripled from ₹6.28 crore (6.28 crore shares) to ₹18.84 crore (18.84 crore shares). The new bonus shares will rank equally with existing shares in all respects, except they will not be eligible for the final dividend for FY ending March 31, 2025.
Shareholders now hold three times as many shares, but the share price will adjust downward proportionally on ex-date, so the overall investment value remains unchanged. The stock may see short-term trading volatility around the adjustment but fundamentals are unaffected.
