Route Mobile's board approved audited consolidated results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, with revenue from operations of ₹4,575.62 cr (up ~13.7% YoY from ₹4,023.29 cr). However, profit after tax fell to ₹333.93 cr from ₹388.84 cr (down ~14% YoY), and Q4 PAT dropped to ₹60.28 cr from ₹95.16 cr (~37% decline), partly cushioned by an exceptional gain of ₹18.45 cr (vs ₹16.84 cr loss last year). Operating cash flow swung sharply positive to ₹602.48 cr from a negative ₹97.59 cr in FY24. The auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) issued an unmodified opinion but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on a subsidiary's ₹113.44 cr advance to a vendor under an onerous SMS contract, with arbitration initiated and a counter-claim filed. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹2/share (20%), taking total FY25 dividend to ₹11/share. It also appointed a new secretarial auditor (Makarand M. Joshi & Co, 5-year term) and an internal auditor, and noted the lapse of 500 ESOPs.
Mixed for shareholders: strong top-line growth and a major recovery in cash generation are positives, but shrinking profits, a compressed margin profile, and the unresolved vendor dispute at a subsidiary introduce earnings and recoverability risk. Total dividend of ₹11/share (vs ₹5 last year) is a meaningful reward and may support the stock in the near term.
