Rungta Irrigation reported audited FY25 revenue from operations of ₹21,934.92 lakhs, up about 47% from ₹14,877.30 lakhs in FY24. Profit after tax grew to ₹622.38 lakhs from ₹565.06 lakhs (~10% rise), with basic EPS of ₹3.12 versus ₹2.84. Despite higher profits, operating cash flow turned deeply negative at ₹(1,440.70) lakhs compared to ₹(281.56) lakhs last year, driven mainly by a sharp jump in trade receivables from ₹4,524 lakhs to ₹8,596 lakhs. Short-term borrowings also nearly tripled to ₹2,640 lakhs. Auditor Mamraj & Co. issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Strong top-line growth is a positive, but the steep rise in receivables and worsening operating cash flow suggest collection pressures and increased working capital dependence on debt — a watch-out for investors despite the clean audit report.
