S. M. Gold Ltd reported strong financial performance for FY2026 with revenue from operations growing 77.7% to Rs 15,606.16 lakhs from Rs 8,778.92 lakhs in FY2025. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs 156.91 lakhs from Rs 56.98 lakhs, representing 175% PAT growth. EPS improved from Rs 0.57 to Rs 1.19. The company raised Rs 320 lakhs through equity share capital issuance during the year, increasing share capital from Rs 1,003.75 lakhs to Rs 1,323.75 lakhs. However, operating cash flow turned negative at Rs -511.64 lakhs due to significant increases in inventory (Rs 600.24 lakhs) and financial assets (Rs 127.14 lakhs). Statutory auditors Shah Karia & Associates issued an Unmodified Opinion on the financial statements.
Strong topline and bottomline growth signals operational strength, but the negative operating cash flow is a concern that investors should monitor closely as it indicates working capital stress despite profitability.
