On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.2 pts more than its Garments & Apparels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
S.P. Apparels' board fixed 10 December 2026 as the record date for a 1-to-5 stock split. Each equity share of face value Rs 10 will be sub-divided into 5 equity shares of Rs 2 each. The split was approved by shareholders at the 21st AGM on 21 September 2026. New shares will rank equally with existing ones.
Stock split improves liquidity and makes shares more affordable. Share price will adjust lower on the ex-date; total shareholder value is unchanged.
