Safari Industries reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 527.34 crore in Q1 FY26, up about 17% from Rs. 449.46 crore in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax rose to Rs. 39.69 crore (from Rs. 36.71 crore), with EPS of Rs. 8.12. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to Rs. 527.83 crore and PAT increased to Rs. 50.49 crore from Rs. 44.41 crore. The board approved a Rs. 25 crore investment in wholly-owned subsidiary Safari Manufacturing Limited via 6.50% redeemable preference shares to fund capital expenditure. Ms. Manjaree Chowdhary (currently General Counsel at Maruti Suzuki) was appointed as an Additional Independent Director for five years, replacing Mrs. Vijaya Sampath whose tenure ended on August 4, 2025. The auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) issued an unmodified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Quarterly results show healthy double-digit revenue growth and steady profitability, with the subsidiary investment signalling capacity expansion plans. Director changes strengthen board governance with the addition of a senior legal and compliance professional, which should be viewed positively by shareholders.
