On the reaction day the stock moved 2.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.9 pts less than its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
India Ratings downgraded Sagar Cements bank loan facilities. Long-term rating moved from IND BBB+/Negative to IND BBB/Stable; short-term from IND A2 to IND A3+. Rated bank facilities about INR 7,709.6 million were downgraded and INR 1,930.4 million were newly assigned. NCDs of INR 115.4 million were repaid in full and rating withdrawn.
Downgrade signals weaker credit profile, but shift from Negative outlook to Stable offers some reassurance on near-term stability.
