Sagar Systech reported audited results for FY25 with total income of ₹49.73 lakhs, turning around from a loss of ₹3.38 lakhs in FY24. Income from operations swung dramatically from negative ₹24.13 lakhs to positive ₹35.31 lakhs. The company posted a net profit of ₹1.51 lakhs for the year, compared to a net loss of ₹41.50 lakhs in the previous year. Total expenses rose to ₹48.17 lakhs from ₹38.09 lakhs, driven mainly by higher employee costs and finance expenses of ₹22.57 lakhs. Statutory auditors Shah, Shah & Shah issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
The turnaround from loss to profit is a positive signal, but the absolute profit is very thin (₹1.51 lakhs on ₹749.98 lakhs of equity) and the company continues to burn cash in operations, funded by rising short-term borrowings which more than doubled to ₹284.19 lakhs. Shareholders should watch closely whether operating cash flow improves, as current borrowings are growing fast relative to the small profit base.
