Sai Life Sciences reported strong Q1 FY26 results, with consolidated revenue from operations rising to Rs. 4,964.19 million from Rs. 2,797.23 million in Q1 FY25, a jump of about 77% year-on-year. The company swung to a consolidated profit after tax of Rs. 604.55 million, compared with a loss of Rs. 134.98 million in the same quarter last year. Standalone revenue rose to Rs. 4,830.38 million (vs Rs. 2,644.69 million) and standalone PAT was Rs. 583.70 million versus a prior-year loss. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified limited review conclusion on both sets of results. The board also approved the reappointment of Managing Director & CEO Krishnamraju Kanumuri for another 5-year term from 1 September 2025, subject to shareholder approval, and the 26th AGM is scheduled for 11 September 2025.
Sharp revenue growth and a return to profitability are positive signals for shareholders, suggesting strong business momentum in the CRDMO segment. Reappointment of the MD & CEO provides leadership continuity, which is generally viewed favorably by the market.
