The Board of Sai Silks (Kalamandir) approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. For the full year, total income rose about 6.4% to Rs 1,486.08 Cr (from Rs 1,397.03 Cr), but profit after tax fell roughly 15% to Rs 85.40 Cr (from Rs 100.87 Cr). Q4 showed a sharp divergence — revenue jumped about 24.7% to Rs 454.20 Cr while Q4 PAT dropped nearly 53% to Rs 13.52 Cr, hinting at margin pressure. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.00 per share (50% of face value of Rs 2). The statutory auditor Sagar & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs 106.79 Cr versus an outflow of Rs 21.46 Cr in FY24.
Mixed signal for shareholders: topline growth and a clean audit, dividend declaration, and a major turnaround in operating cash flow are positives, but the sharp fall in Q4 and full-year profits despite higher revenue may weigh on the stock in the near term as investors focus on margin compression.
