Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Limited reported FY25 total income of Rs 1,486.08 crore, up about 6% from Rs 1,397.03 crore in FY24. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,462.01 crore from Rs 1,373.55 crore. Profit before tax grew modestly to Rs 142.72 crore from Rs 134.68 crore, while net profit after tax was nearly flat at Rs 85.40 crore versus Rs 85.39 crore in the previous year. For Q4 alone, revenue was Rs 398.84 crore with a PAT of Rs 13.51 crore, almost unchanged from the year-ago quarter. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.00 per share (50% of face value). A key highlight was the strong swing in operating cash flow, which turned positive at Rs 106.79 crore compared to a negative Rs 21.46 crore last year, aided by lower working capital outflows and reduced short-term borrowings.
Steady revenue growth and a clean, unmodified audit opinion should reassure shareholders, while the sharp recovery in operating cash flow and reduction in short-term borrowings signal improved financial health. However, the flat bottom line and EPS suggest limited near-term earnings momentum, which may cap upside in the stock despite the dividend.
