Sambhaav Media Limited reported standalone revenue of Rs 3,867.30 lakhs for FY26, up 3.3% from Rs 3,745.25 lakhs in FY25. However, net profit declined sharply to Rs 44.40 lakhs from Rs 146.91 lakhs in the prior year - a 70% drop. The consolidated net profit was Rs 8.19 lakhs. The decline in profitability is partly attributed to higher broadcasting and employee expenses. The company also received assessment orders from Income Tax Department for AY 2018-19 with a tax liability of Rs 43.22 lakhs. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements. New internal auditor M/s MBD & Co LLP and programming head Nishant Gadhavi were appointed.
The significant 70% decline in net profit despite modest revenue growth signals operational challenges and cost pressures. Shareholders should monitor the company's ability to improve profitability in FY27, particularly given the decline in the Technology segment and rising expenses.
