On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.5 pts more than its Iron & Steel Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
For Q2 FY27, Sambhv reported INR840 crore revenue, INR105 crore EBITDA and INR61 crore profit after tax, with EBITDA margin above 12% and operating cash flow of INR213 crore. Value-added sales volumes rose 27% year on year. Management targets over 2 million tonnes of finished-product capacity and 90% captive energy use by 2030, plus 2.5%-3% margin accretion from cost savings. A 14,400-tonne seamless stainless line is planned.
Strong earnings and cash flow are positive for shareholders, but expansion execution, funding needs and import pressure remain risks.
