Q2 FY27 standalone revenue rose 44.1% to ₹835.99 crore and profit after tax doubled to ₹61.29 crore; EPS was ₹2.08. Half-year revenue rose 37.7% to ₹1,568.16 crore and profit after tax rose 86.1% to ₹117.90 crore. The board approved a ₹148 crore, 14,400 tonne-per-year stainless steel seamless plant in Chhattisgarh, due March 2028, with ₹100 crore debt. It also issued 8.70 million convertible warrants at ₹115.
Strong growth supports sentiment, but the new plant adds debt and capital spending, while 8.70 million warrants create potential dilution.
