Sammaan Capital reported FY25 as a transformational year, completing Rs. 3,700 crore rights issue and a QIP that lifted net worth to Rs. 21,822 crore. Total AUM stood at Rs. 62,346 crore, with growth AUM rising to Rs. 37,000+ crore (60% of total) from Rs. 26,000 crore last year, driven by an asset-light model with 95-96% of loans co-lent or assigned to banks. Profit after tax was Rs. 324 crore vs Rs. 320 crore in the year-ago quarter, NIM improved to 6.2%, gearing fell to 1.9x, gross NPA halved to 1.3%, and net NPA dropped to 0.8%. Credit ratings remain AA stable, while borrowings grew 2.3x and incremental rates are about 35 bps lower. Management targets consolidated AUM of Rs. 1 lakh crore by FY27, ROA of 4%+, and ROE of mid-teens overall (high teens on growth AUM).
Positive for shareholders — improving asset quality, stronger capital base, declining gearing, and clear multi-year roadmap to higher ROE and AUM growth could support the stock, though legacy book rundown keeps total AUM under pressure in the near term.
