Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 show consolidated operating revenue down 7.1% year on year at Rs 2,250.60 crore. Profit after tax swung to Rs 308.47 crore from a Rs 2,760.72 crore loss. Standalone profit after tax rose 149% to Rs 275.45 crore. Half-year operating cash outflow was Rs 2,680.93 crore. A tenure-estimation change added Rs 661.67 crore to June-quarter gains. The auditor review was not qualified.
The profit turnaround may support sentiment, but lower revenue, the large one-off gain and cash outflow could weigh on near-term stock gains.
