Samrat Forgings Limited announced audited results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended 31 March 2025. Revenue from operations rose about 18% year-on-year, from roughly Rs 162 crores in FY24 to Rs 191 crores in FY25. Profit after tax jumped sharply by around 71%, from Rs 2.97 crores to Rs 5.10 crores, pointing to much stronger profitability despite the moderate top-line growth. Statutory auditor M/s Rattan Kaur & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, while noting that FY24 was audited by a different predecessor firm, indicating a change in statutory auditors between the two fiscal years. The board also approved two director appointments effective 1 June 2025: Mr. Siddharth Joshi as Whole-Time / Executive Director for 3 years, and Mr. Dhananjay Lakhanpal as Independent Director for 5 years. Operating cash flow for FY25 was positive but very small compared with FY24.
Strong PAT growth on a modest revenue rise signals improving margins, which is positive for shareholders. At the same time, the appointment of the MD's nephew as Executive Director is a related-party move and may draw governance attention from investors.
