The Sandesh Limited reported Q2 FY26 standalone results. Revenue from operations held near Rs 41.2 crore versus Rs 40.6 crore a year ago. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 13.4 crore from Rs 21.2 crore, a 37 percent decline. The main drag was a Rs 18.3 crore net loss on equity and mutual fund investments booked under other expenses. Half year PAT also slipped to Rs 21.5 crore from Rs 38.1 crore. The statutory auditor gave a clean review report.
Investment losses pulled down profit even as core media business revenue stayed flat. Watch for market-linked volatility.
