Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited has allotted 32,40,69,876 (32.4 crore) bonus equity shares of face value ₹10 each to its shareholders. The bonus issue was in the ratio of 2:1, meaning shareholders received two new shares for every one share they held as on the record date of 22 September 2025. Following this allotment, the company's total paid-up equity share capital stands increased to 48,61,04,814 shares (₹4,86,10,48,140). The Board approved the allotment via a circular resolution dated 23 September 2025, and the new shares will rank equally with existing shares in all respects.
This is a highly rewarding bonus issue for shareholders, as the 2:1 ratio effectively triples the share count held by each investor. While share price typically adjusts downward proportionally post-allotment (theoretically dropping to one-third), it reflects strong management confidence in the company's growth and rewards long-term holders. Existing shareholders' overall value remains unchanged on day one, but the increased liquidity and shareholder base can be positive over time.
