Sapphire Foods posted Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs 8,138 million, up 7.6 percent year-on-year, but swung to a loss of Rs 48 million versus a profit of Rs 127 million in Q3 FY25. Nine-month loss was Rs 193 million. Exceptional items of about Rs 112 million include new labour code impact and merger expenses. Board approved merger with Devyani International at 1.77:1 share swap, effective April 1, 2026. Kushal Agarwal named nominee director replacing Rohitt Mutthoo.
Near-term losses may weigh on sentiment, but the Devyani merger could bring scale and long-term synergies for shareholders.
