Saptarishi Agro Industries reported Q3 FY26 net sales of Rs 1,003.90 lakhs, up modestly from Rs 976.44 lakhs in Q3 FY25, but swung to a loss before tax of Rs 261.78 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 178.62 lakhs in the preceding quarter. For the nine months ended December 2025, net sales grew sharply by about 57% to Rs 5,048.53 lakhs (from Rs 3,206.63 lakhs a year ago), yet the company still posted a loss of Rs 76.93 lakhs, slightly narrower than last year's Rs 101.27 lakhs loss. The new Manufacturing-Gujarat segment is the main drag, contributing a Rs 780.44 lakh loss in Q3, while trading in Gujarat and Jodhpur remained profitable. Total income was boosted by Rs 550.01 lakhs of other income in the quarter, and the board also appointed a new Company Secretary, Ms. Khushboo Negi.
Short-term sentiment is negative as the company returned to a quarterly loss despite revenue growth, driven by weak manufacturing performance and dependence on other income to support earnings. Investors should watch for sustained improvement in the manufacturing segment and clarity on whether reserves (currently shown as zero/negative) raise any long-term solvency concerns.
