SAR Auto Products Ltd submitted its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025, approved at a board meeting held on May 12, 2025. Revenue from operations fell to around Rs 1,396.79 lakh from Rs 1,504.84 lakh in the previous year, a decline of roughly 7%. Profit before tax swung sharply to a loss of about Rs 127.16 lakh, compared with a profit of Rs 151.48 lakh last year. Profit after tax also dropped significantly to roughly Rs 42.93 lakh from about Rs 116.70 lakh. Despite weaker earnings, operating cash flow stayed healthy at around Rs 311.94 lakh and cash balance improved to Rs 571.54 lakh. The statutory auditor, J. A. Sheth & Associates, issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, and the company confirmed Regulation 23 on related party transactions is not applicable to it.
Sharply weaker top line and a swing to a pre-tax loss are negative signals for the stock, though positive operating cash flow and a clean audit opinion provide some comfort. Shareholders should watch whether margin recovery materialises in coming quarters.
