The Board approved unaudited results for Q2 FY26 (quarter ended Sept 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations stood at Rs. 7,327.35 lakhs vs Rs. 7,830.89 lakhs in Q2 FY25, while net profit after tax was Rs. 6,030.07 lakhs vs Rs. 6,332.58 lakhs, a modest 4.8% decline. For H1 FY26, total revenue was Rs. 10,474.04 lakhs against Rs. 14,652.27 lakhs in H1 FY25 (down ~28.5%), with PAT at Rs. 8,388.19 lakhs vs Rs. 11,577.23 lakhs (down ~27.5%). The fall is mainly due to lower net gains on fair value changes in the investment/trading book. Basic EPS for the quarter was Rs. 615.32 (largely flat YoY). Consolidated numbers are almost identical to standalone.
Quarterly PAT remained steady YoY, but the sharp H1 decline reflects weaker mark-to-market gains on investments, which could weigh on sentiment. However, the company retains a very strong equity base (~Rs. 106 crore standalone) and low debt, so the fundamentals stay solid despite the volatile investment-linked income.
