Satchmo Holdings informed that the Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC) has revoked the in-principle One-Time Settlement (OTS) originally granted on August 4-5, 2025 to the company and its two wholly owned subsidiaries. The company had already paid Rs. 70 Crores as its OTS amount and another subsidiary (NVPL) had cleared Rs. 3.78 Crores in full, with mortgages discharged and title documents returned. However, for the second subsidiary (MVPL), Rs. 3.78 Crores of the Rs. 35.22 Crores OTS was paid while Rs. 31.44 Crores remains outstanding, and MVPL had sought a 45-day extension to fund this balance. The company is now disputing the revocation and plans to take legal action.
This is a negative development for shareholders — the revocation creates uncertainty over the company's debt resolution, exposes it to legal risk from the ARC, and could revive the original debt obligations, potentially pressuring the stock price.
