Saurashtra Cement's Board approved its Q1 FY26 unaudited results on July 24, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹42,356.59 lakhs from ₹38,579.56 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 9.8% year-on-year. Net profit jumped to ₹1,679.14 lakhs from ₹979.76 lakhs, up roughly 71%, and EPS doubled to ₹1.51 from ₹0.88. The Cement & Clinker segment led the performance with revenue of ₹40,339.47 lakhs, while the Paints segment grew modestly to ₹2,017.12 lakhs but continued to post a segment loss of ₹417.87 lakhs. The auditor Manubhai & Shah LLP issued a clean (unqualified) review report on both standalone and consolidated results, with the consolidated results including the immaterial wholly-owned subsidiary Agrima Consultants International.
Strong bottom-line growth and margin expansion are positive signals for shareholders, though paints continues to drag. Revenue growth below 20% may temper valuation re-rating hopes despite the sharp profit jump.
