SBI Cards Q2 FY26 profit after tax rose 74.8% YoY to Rs 777.60 crores on lower impairment costs. Total income grew 3.2% to Rs 5,301.67 crores. H1 PAT jumped 44% to Rs 1,442 crores. Gross NPA improved to 1.90% from 2.41% in March 2026; net NPA at 0.77%. EPS at Rs 8.17 for the quarter. Capital adequacy healthy at 26.47%. Auditors flagged Rs 100 cr extra impairment provision as emphasis of matter due to geopolitical tensions. Operating cash flow was negative at minus Rs 1,014 cr in H1.
Strong profit growth and improved asset quality are positives, but auditor emphasis on extra provisioning and negative operating cash flow are watch points.
