APE rose 18% to Rs 117.5 billion and PAT grew 17% to Rs 12.7 billion. New business value rose 19% to Rs 32.7 billion, with margin at 27.9%. Assets under management reached Rs 5.27 trillion, solvency was 1.97, and the total cost ratio rose to 11.7% from 10.9%.
Strong premium, profit and embedded value growth is positive for shareholders, though the higher total cost ratio needs watching.
