For the September 2026 quarter, gross premium income rose 8.2% year on year to Rs 26,877.77 crore and profit after tax rose 11.0% to Rs 549.23 crore. Earnings per share was Rs 5.47 and the solvency ratio was 1.97. In the first half, premium rose 11.7% to Rs 46,955.91 crore and profit after tax rose 17.0% to Rs 1,274.17 crore. Operating cash flow was Rs 13,013.27 crore. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion; some prior figures were restated.
Profit growth supports sentiment, but negative net premium and a conservation ratio of 81.71% keep the near-term stock impact mixed.
