SC Agrotech reported a sharp jump in revenue for Q2 FY26 at Rs 501.69 lacs, up 135% from Rs 213.53 lacs in Q2 FY25. Half-year revenue nearly tripled to Rs 715.22 lacs versus Rs 247.33 lacs last year. Net profit for Q2 surged to Rs 21.21 lacs from Rs 1.96 lacs, while half-year profit rose modestly to Rs 23.17 lacs (Rs 18.93 lacs earlier). EPS for the quarter improved to Rs 0.35 from Rs 0.03. Balance sheet shows total assets ballooning to Rs 1,011.17 lacs from Rs 313.40 lacs, mainly due to a big jump in current assets and trade payables of Rs 670.35 lacs. Operating cash flow remained negative at Rs (24.51) lacs for the half year. The auditor (Marks & Co.) has flagged an Emphasis of Matter noting that trade receivables, trade payables, and loans and advances are pending comprehensive verification and external confirmation.
Strong top-line and profit growth is a positive signal, but the negative operating cash flow, persistent negative other equity (Rs 307.18 lacs), and the auditor's emphasis on unverified balances suggest caution. Shareholders should watch for the pending reconciliations and whether the surge in receivables and payables translates into actual cash collection.
