Scarnose International reported full-year revenue from operations of Rs 1,210.16 lakhs, down about 12.7% from Rs 1,386.34 lakhs in the previous year. Total income fell to Rs 1,227.39 lakhs from Rs 1,414.38 lakhs. Despite the revenue dip, net profit jumped sharply to Rs 19.10 lakhs from just Rs 0.93 lakhs last year, with earnings per share rising to Rs 0.61 from Rs 0.03. The second half of FY25 (H2) saw strong recovery, with H2 revenue at Rs 239.99 lakhs and H2 profit at Rs 14.80 lakhs, much higher than the Rs 41.26 lakhs revenue and Rs 4.82 lakhs profit in H2 FY24. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Operating cash flow turned positive at Rs 33.41 lakhs versus a negative Rs 81.26 lakhs in the prior year, though cash and bank balance fell sharply to Rs 1.70 lakhs from Rs 14.66 lakhs.
For retail investors, the headline takeaway is a dramatic improvement in profitability despite weaker top-line sales, supported by a clean audit report. The sharp drop in cash balance and reduced trade receivables warrant attention, but the turnaround in profit and operating cash flow is a positive signal.
