Sealmatic India's board approved audited financial results for the half-year and year ended March 31, 2025. Revenue from operations rose around 42% to Rs. 10,097 lakhs (vs Rs. 7,102 lakhs last year), and profit after tax grew about 61% to Rs. 1,591 lakhs (vs Rs. 985 lakhs). Basic EPS came in at Rs. 17.58, up from Rs. 10.89 in FY24. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.10 per share (11%), totaling roughly Rs. 99.55 lakhs, pending shareholder approval. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications. However, net cash from operating activities stayed negative at around Rs. 283 lakhs, mainly due to a sharp rise in inventories and receivables.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth, a clean audit opinion, and a maiden dividend are positive for shareholders. The persistent negative operating cash flow is a watch point despite the headline profit jump, as it shows working capital is stretching the business.
