SEBI has issued prohibitory orders on August 3, 2026 against two promoters of SecureKloud Technologies - Suresh Venkatachari and R S Ramani - for failing to pay penalty dues. Recovery certificates of Rs 3.87 crore (against Venkatachari) and Rs 2.58 crore (against Ramani) plus interest were issued in 2025. Earlier SEBI had attached their bank accounts, demat accounts and mutual fund units. The new order freezes their movable and immovable properties. The company says there is no direct financial or operational impact on the listed entity.
Action targets individual promoters, not the company, but raises governance concerns and may weigh on stock sentiment.
