Shah Construction Company reported unaudited results for Q3FY26 with revenue from operations of Rs. 128.67 lakhs, up sharply from Rs. 89.24 lakhs in Q3FY25. Total income for the quarter was Rs. 200.10 lakhs versus Rs. 134.58 lakhs a year ago. The company posted a loss after tax of Rs. 41.59 lakhs in Q3FY26, significantly narrower than the Rs. 171.29 lakh loss in Q3FY25. For the nine-month period, revenue from operations grew about 42% to Rs. 379.01 lakhs from Rs. 267.71 lakhs, and the loss narrowed to Rs. 143.25 lakhs from Rs. 257.45 lakhs. The auditor (Mittal & Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
While top-line growth and loss reduction are encouraging, the company remains loss-making at the bottom line with negative EPS of Rs. (88.84) for nine months, so shareholders should not expect any near-term turnaround to profitability. The narrowing losses and revenue acceleration, if sustained, are the key positives to watch in coming quarters.
