Shah Metacorp's board has approved a rights issue of up to ₹4,980 lakhs (approximately ₹49.8 crore) by issuing 102,469,136 fully paid-up equity shares at ₹4.86 per share (face value ₹1, premium ₹3.86). Existing shareholders will receive 36 rights shares for every 311 shares held as of the record date of May 27, 2026. The issue opens on June 11, 2026 and closes on June 24, 2026. Post-issue total shares will increase from 88,52,10,866 to 98,76,80,002 assuming full subscription. The company received in-principle approvals from both BSE and NSE on May 14, 2026.
The rights issue will dilute existing shareholders by ~11.6% at the current ratio but raises equity capital without taking on new debt. The price of ₹4.86 is above face value, which is a positive signal.
