Shahi Shipping Limited posted a net loss of ₹45.82 lakh in Q3 FY26, wider than the ₹36.31 lakh loss in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹166.98 lakh, up about 16% year-on-year from ₹144.11 lakh. However, the nine-month picture is weak — revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹486.86 lakh from ₹750.92 lakh a year ago, a decline of around 35%. The company continued to post losses at the operating level, with a nine-month loss before tax of ₹122.69 lakh. The auditor (B.P. Shah & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The company also disclosed pending GST and service tax disputes totalling around ₹7.3 crore kept as contingent liabilities with no provision made.
Persistent quarterly losses and a sharp drop in nine-month revenues are negative signals for shareholders — the shipping business is not generating profits and the top line has shrunk significantly versus last year. Short-term, the stock may remain under pressure until revenues stabilise and the company moves back to profitability.
