On the reaction day the stock moved 2.6 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.9 pts more than its Plastic Products - Consumer peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Shaily Engineering Plastics reported strong FY26 results with standalone revenue growing 21.5% to Rs. 92,120 lakhs and consolidated revenue rising 25.9% to Rs. 99,067 lakhs. Net profit more than doubled on standalone basis at Rs. 16,132 lakhs (up 127.5%) and consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 16,991 lakhs (up 82.5%). The Board approved an enabling resolution to raise up to Rs. 500 crores through various modes to fund expansion into healthcare drug delivery devices, consumer electronics, and semiconductor components. A final dividend of Rs. 3 per share (150%) was recommended. The company appointed Mr. Chi Hung Kam as COO-Healthcare to drive the healthcare vertical expansion.
Strong financial performance with over 25% revenue growth and near-doubling of profits is positive for shareholders. The Rs. 500 crore fund raise provides capital flexibility for diversification into high-growth sectors but may dilute equity. The dividend declaration is a positive signal of financial health.
