Shakti Sons Trust, a promoter of Shakti Pumps, disclosed an indirect acquisition of shares in the company under SEBI SAST Regulation 29(2). The Trust received 55,000 shares (1.69%) of Shakti Irrigation India Limited by way of gift from Dinesh Kumar Patidar HUF on 20 August 2025, through an off-market transfer. Since Shakti Irrigation India holds 4.53% in Shakti Pumps, this translates into an indirect acquisition of approximately 0.08% equity in Shakti Pumps. The Trust's direct holding in Shakti Pumps remains unchanged at 2,26,18,600 shares (18.33%) both before and after the transaction. SEBI had earlier granted exemption under Regulation 11 of SAST Regulations via order dated 10 September 2024, as this is part of an internal family reorganization to streamline succession and does not change promoter control, ownership, or public shareholding.
There is no material change in the promoter's effective stake or control of Shakti Pumps, and the public shareholding remains the same at 48.42%. This is an internal restructuring move and is unlikely to affect the stock price or minority shareholder interests.
