Shalby Limited told exchanges that the registration of its Jabalpur hospital has been suspended by the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Jabalpur, following a minor fire in a patient room on October 11, 2026, reportedly caused by a mobile phone blast. No injuries or casualties were reported, and existing patients were safely shifted. The suspension bars the unit from admitting new patients until fire and electrical safety inspection reports are reassessed and submitted. The company said audits are underway and it will submit reports at the earliest to restore registration. It added the financial impact is not expected to be material.
Short-term revenue loss at one hospital unit, but company says impact is not material; pending safety clearance to resume admissions.
