Shankara Building Products reported strong Q1FY26 results with consolidated revenue from operations rising 27.4% year-on-year to Rs 1,644 crore (vs Rs 1,290.97 crore in Q1FY25). Consolidated profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs 32.40 crore from Rs 16.05 crore, a 102% jump. Standalone revenue grew 33% to Rs 1,568.14 crore and standalone PAT rose 96% to Rs 30.10 crore. Both Retail and Channel & Enterprise segments delivered higher revenues and profits. The board reconstituted five committees and noted the cessation of Independent Director Mr. Chandu Nair after completion of his second term. The statutory auditor Sundaram & Srinivasan issued an unmodified limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results. The pending demerger scheme has its next NCLT hearing on 21 August 2025.
Sharp topline and bottomline growth signals strong operational momentum, likely to be viewed positively by investors. Watch the demerger scheme hearing in August as a potential value-unlocking catalyst.
