Shanti Spintex Ltd has submitted its audited financial results for FY25 along with the H2 (Oct'24-Mar'25) results. Total revenue from operations grew sharply by about 40.3% to ₹70,994 lakhs (FY24: ₹50,583 lakhs), driven primarily by the textile segment. However, net profit fell by roughly 21.6% to ₹1,020 lakhs (FY24: ₹1,302 lakhs), and EPS dropped to ₹6.04 from ₹8.71. Cost of materials consumed rose sharply (+31.6%), squeezing margins — EBITDA margin compressed to around 2.9% from 3.8% a year ago. On the positive side, finance costs nearly halved, debt-to-equity improved from 0.41 to 0.16, and operating cash flow strengthened to ₹1,123 lakhs (FY24: ₹697 lakhs). The statutory auditor issued an unqualified opinion, with no going-concern or qualification flags.
Mixed for shareholders — strong topline growth is encouraging, but the drop in profit and shrinking margins suggest rising input costs are not being fully passed on. Lower finance costs and a stronger balance sheet (lower debt, better cash flow) provide support, though near-term profitability pressure may cap upside in the stock.
