The Board of Shanti Spintex met on 14 November 2025 and approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the half year ended 30 September 2025, along with a clean limited review report from the statutory auditor. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose modestly to ₹36,521.66 lakhs (from ₹35,503.85 lakhs in H1 FY25, up about 2.9%), but profit after tax fell sharply to ₹356.20 lakhs from ₹647.15 lakhs — a drop of roughly 45% — pushing EPS down to ₹2.11 from ₹3.83. The consolidated picture, helped by the newly acquired subsidiary Teesta Spintex (100% acquired w.e.f. 9 May 2025), showed revenue of ₹38,248.13 lakhs and PAT of ₹694.18 lakhs (EPS ₹4.11). The Board also approved related party transactions for the period and noted the internal audit report. Operating cash flow turned negative on both a standalone (₹-457.11 lakhs) and consolidated (₹-259.47 lakhs) basis.
Despite stable top-line growth, the steep ~45% fall in standalone profit and negative operating cash flow signal margin pressure and weaker cash generation, which is negative for near-term sentiment. The consolidation with Teesta Spintex, however, roughly doubles reported profits and earnings per share, which may provide some support to the stock on a consolidated basis.
