Q2 consolidated revenue rose 13.2% year on year to Rs 1,052 crore; profit rose 4.2% to Rs 92 crore. Half-year revenue rose 11.1% to Rs 2,125 crore, but profit fell 17.2% to Rs 180 crore. Standalone Q2 revenue fell 8.8%; profit rose 39.5%. Consolidated EBITDA margin improved from 17.5% to 19.8% in Q2, but eased from 21.4% to 20.2% for the half year. Half-year operating cash flow was Rs 564 crore; review found no material issue.
Agrochemicals are seasonal, and mixed results may temper sentiment: group half-year profit fell despite higher revenue.
