Sharda Motor Industries posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue from operations of Rs 1,01,107 lakh, up 33.7% from Rs 75,625 lakh a year ago. However, profit fell 13.4% to Rs 8,578 lakh from Rs 9,910 lakh, as the year-ago quarter had an exceptional item of Rs 2,241 lakh. EPS stood at Rs 14.94 versus Rs 17.26. Total expenses rose 36.8% on raw material costs. Auditor S.R. Dinodia gave an unqualified review. The board also re-appointed Gurdeep Singh & Associates as Cost Auditors for FY26-27 and named Ajay Relan as Whole-time Director for 5 years from September 1, 2026.
Strong top-line growth but margins under pressure as PAT declined despite higher revenue. Leadership appointment signals continuity.
