On the reaction day the stock moved 6.0 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 5.9 pts less than its Stockbroking & Allied peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved raising up to USD 50 million through a private placement of foreign currency convertible bonds, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. Final pricing, interest and conversion terms are yet to be decided. It also declared a second interim dividend of Rs 0.40 per share, approved September quarter and half-year results, and plans up to Rs 6 crore investment in a new fixed-income distribution subsidiary.
Funding can aid growth, and the Rs 0.40 dividend supports returns. Debt and currency risks arise, and conversion into equity may dilute shareholders.
