On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Shekhawati Industries reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results along with several board approvals. Total income fell sharply to Rs. 423.39 lakhs from Rs. 1,740.97 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with revenue from operations dropping about 82% to Rs. 299.89 lakhs (textile job work nearly vanished). Despite the revenue collapse, net profit rose to Rs. 281.42 lakhs (vs Rs. 235.88 lakhs), driven mainly by other income of Rs. 123.50 lakhs. EPS stood at Rs. 0.82 vs Rs. 0.07 in the year-ago quarter. The board also approved the appointment of a new statutory auditor (SGCO & Co. LLP) and secretarial auditor for 5 years, re-appointment of internal and cost auditors, and the appointment of Mrs. Kalpana Mukesh Ruia (relative of the CMD) as Additional Executive Director for 5 years. Material related party transactions with SKI Realtech Pvt Ltd and Mrs. Kalpana Ruia were also approved.
Sharp revenue decline in core textile operations is a red flag, though the headline profit growth is propped up by non-operating income rather than business performance. The appointment of a promoter-family member as Executive Director and approval of related party transactions may raise governance concerns for minority shareholders.
