Shilchar Technologies announced that its board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 12.50 per equity share (125% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2024-25, unchanged from the previous year. The board also approved a bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1, meaning 1 new equity share for every 2 existing shares held, funded by capitalizing free reserves. The company's paid-up share capital will rise from 76.26 lakh shares to approximately 1.14 crore shares post-bonus, with bonus shares expected to be credited by 20th June 2025. Auditors CNK & Associates LLP issued an unmodified opinion on the FY25 results. For the full year, revenue jumped to Rs. 231.86 crore from Rs. 153.74 crore, while profit before tax grew to Rs. 197.37 crore from Rs. 123.32 crore.
Shareholders will receive both a steady dividend (same as last year) and a bonus share reward, which improves liquidity and lowers per-share price, generally making the stock more accessible. Strong FY25 earnings growth supports shareholder returns, though the dividend is flat year-on-year.
