Shine Fashions (India) Ltd, a fabric and textile raw material trading company, posted strong results for FY25. Standalone revenue from operations jumped to Rs. 80.46 crore from Rs. 52.89 crore, a rise of about 52%. Profit after tax grew to Rs. 6.97 crore from Rs. 3.88 crore, roughly 80% higher year-on-year, with basic EPS at Rs. 24.35 versus Rs. 13.87 last year. Consolidated revenue was Rs. 81.58 crore with PAT of Rs. 6.99 crore, including a small subsidiary (Shinetex Industries). The balance sheet expanded sharply, with reserves and surplus nearly tripling to Rs. 21.65 crore and cash and bank balances rising to Rs. 12.94 crore from just Rs. 1.94 lakh, partly funded by Rs. 6.11 crore in fresh share capital and Rs. 4.92 crore in additional borrowings. The auditor (Thakur, Vaidyanath Aiyar & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on unconfirmed balances of sundry creditors, debtors, and loans and advances.
Strong top-line growth and sharp profit expansion are positive signals for shareholders, supported by higher EPS and a much stronger cash position. However, the auditor's emphasis on unconfirmed receivables and creditor balances is a mild governance red flag worth monitoring, and the rise in short-term borrowings alongside a big jump in trade receivables may warrant some caution on working-capital quality.
