On the reaction day the stock moved 5.1 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 4.5 pts less than its Shipping peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Shipping Corporation of India board declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share, 30 percent on face value, for FY 2025-26. Record date is November 19, 2025 and total payout is about Rs 139.74 crore. Q2 FY26 standalone profit fell 39 percent year on year to Rs 175.89 crore. Revenue declined to Rs 1,338.50 crore from Rs 1,450.63 crore. Half year standalone profit stands at Rs 519.12 crore.
Interim dividend offers short-term cash to shareholders, but weak Q2 earnings and revenue decline may weigh on stock sentiment.
