SCI posted standalone revenue of Rs 1,84,464 lakhs in Q1 FY27, up about 40 percent YoY from Rs 1,31,568 lakhs. Standalone PAT jumped around 94 percent YoY to Rs 66,429 lakhs. EPS rose to Rs 14.26 from Rs 7.37. Tanker segment led with revenue of Rs 1,29,546 lakhs and PBT of Rs 52,523 lakhs. Auditors issued an unmodified review but flagged emphasis of matter notes on pending balance reconciliations, tax asset reconciliation, and the ongoing government strategic disinvestment process.
Strong results signal healthy shipping demand, led by tankers. Ongoing government disinvestment process remains a key overhang for shareholders.
